4. Content Storage

Digital content uploaded by Merchants is stored securely in cloud object storage (Cloudflare R2). Content is encrypted at rest and access is restricted to authorised buyers who have completed a verified payment. Merchants receive 2 GB of storage and can purchase additional storage as needed.

We do not access, review, or use the contents of your uploaded files except as necessary to deliver them to authorised buyers or to comply with legal obligations.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in to your account (session cookies).
  • Remember your preferences (theme, sidebar state).
  • Understand how the platform is used (analytics cookies).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the platform. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for stored content and sensitive data, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to keep your wallet credentials private.

We will notify affected users and relevant authorities in the event of a data breach as required by applicable law.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 5 years to comply with financial recordkeeping requirements. You may request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations) by contacting us at privacy@privatecart.online.
